1. Responsible for data processing

2. What personal data we collect
Personal Data refers to information that identifies a person, or that can be identified in relation to a person.
MASF collects different types of Personal Data for different purposes, including the following:
- Full name;
- Birth date;
- E-mail address;
- Phone number;
- Address;
- Address for billing purposes;
- VAT ID;
- Transaction information including purchased products;
- Purchases historic;
- Details of your chosen payment method and Paypal credit/debit card or email details;
- Records of your correspondence with us;
- Your image when you visit the physical MASF store, through video surveillance or photo or video capture;
- Position held (applicable only to institutional and business contacts);
- Company name (only applicable to institutional and business contacts).
These data are used exclusively for the purposes of processing information regarding the purposes for which they are used (see point 3. How we use your personal data), and are not, under any circumstances, provided to other entities, safeguarding legal exceptions.
3. How we use your personal data
3.1. Newsletter and Email
MASF may use your email address to:
– Dissemination of cultural activities, such as exhibitions, conferences, guided tours, workshops, workshops and other events;
– Dissemination of a Newsletter on cultural activities taking place at MASF or related to MASF;
– Disclosure of promotions or discounts on the purchase of tickets for certain events;
– Disclosure of products sold in the Store, as well as promotions associated with them;
– Assist with support and information requests and complaints.
3.2. Online purchases
MASF uses third-party services to manage and process your online purchases of museum tickets or store products. MASF requires its suppliers to maintain the security of the information you provide to us, and restricts suppliers from using that information in any way not expressly authorized by MASF.
When you make a purchase on the MASF Online Store, we need to know your name, billing and shipping addresses, phone number, email address, and details of your payment method (credit/debit card details or Paypal email) to process your order. Payment information is sent to our third party service providers to perform fraud detection and payment processing services. We do not store credit/debit card numbers. The remaining information is saved in order to facilitate customer service and inform you of the status of your order.
3.3. Forms
The data collected through the forms available on the MASF Online Store are treated according to the explicit purposes, such as contacting, sending a newsletter, or processing orders and payments.
From time to time, MASF may invite you to participate in surveys by completing forms published on the MASF Online Store or sent by email. You can decide whether you want to fill out these forms, which may ask about your education, occupation, etc. MASF uses this information to better understand its audience, which in turn allows us to better serve their needs and interests. The information collected in these surveys is never sold or rented to third parties for marketing purposes, but we may share it with third party providers for analysis (see point 7. “Links and Third Party Services”).
4. Storage of personal data
MASF only retains your personal data for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the data was collected, under the terms set out in this Privacy Policy. For example: if you provide us with your contact details when making a purchase, we will only use your contact details for purposes related to that purchase and only for as long as necessary.

8. Guarrantees
The user guarantees that the personal data transmitted to MASF is correct and undertakes to notify any changes or modifications to them, and assumes sole responsibility for losses and damages caused by erroneous, inaccurate or incomplete communication of the data.
The user is expressly warned that when publicly transmitting personal data on MASF social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, these may be seen and used by third parties.
8.1. Exclusion of guarantees
The use of the MASF Online Store is at the risk of the user.
MASF makes reasonable efforts to update the website but assumes no responsibility for any errors or omissions, including the inaccuracy of content, or for any damages or losses that the user or third parties may incur as a result of the unavailability of its Online Store. MASF is not responsible for any damage or viruses that may affect the user’s equipment resulting from the use of the MASF Online Store.
Neither MASF nor its partners, board members, employees, agents or sponsors shall have any liability for any damages, including but not limited to any direct, indirect, incidental, compensatory, punitive or special damages (even if MASF has been previously advised of the possibility of such damages occurring), resulting from or related to the content and/or use of the MASF Online Store by the user.
